There was an oak tree overlooking the mountains. The cows grazed on the pasture from dawn to dusk. Life was beautiful.
He had just woken up when he saw Moment go by.
“Hey Moment, can we talk?” Oak asked. “Not now … I’m running an errand,” Moment said grimly.
“I have a challenging task for you,” he said, “I wonder if you can do it,” he smiled.
“What is the task you want me to do?”
“It is right there, on the top of that mountain … I have been looking at these mountains and I have seen so much harshness there, neither the sun nor the water nor the wind have been able to soften it.”
“He’s too strong even for me; because who can resist me? I’m patient and I’m always on the go. I’ll take on the new assignment,” Moment boasted.
“Oh darling, I’ve been here for years and haven’t seen anything move at the top. It shines brighter and it also rains harder. The wind can blow from my top but not from the mountain“Oak warned.
“Okay, I’ll do my part and let’s see what you have to say,” Moment said.
“Are you sure you are up to the challenge?” taunted Oak.
“Of course, no challenge is too big for me,” said Moment. So he went looking for a way to meet the challenge head-on.
First it was for a newly married couple.
Suddenly they woke up in the morning wanting to go on an expedition.
“It will be fun,” they said to each other as they packed their bags and drove off in their car.
“Hey look, there’s already a fire to keep us warm,” the husband yelled when they finally reached the top of the mountain.
“Come and warm yourself.”
“OMG, so warm and nice,” said the wife.
“Have a drink … it was a long climb.”
“Yes it was. What’s next?” she asked.
“Get some rest.”
“And the lunch?”
“That is later.”
“I’m hungry.”
“Don’t tell me … you’re doing something,” said the husband.
“There is nothing to cook here.”
“Oh, you should have thought about it. There’s already a fire … what more do you need?” raised his voice.
“I need things to cook,” demanded the wife.
“Take the clothes,” said the husband.
“What can I do with the clothes?”
“Use them, of course.”
“And what should I cook?”
“Cook donuts; we still have them, don’t we?” the Scream.
“You are such a fool for not thinking about food.”
Hitting the rock with a knife and breaking a few pieces, “Cook them, they’ll taste good.”
“No, I have a better idea.”
And she threw some stones at him.
And he scooped up some more and soon there was a big dent on the top of the mountain and the pair ran off in pursuit of each other.
“Oh no,” Oak said. Was it that easy for Moment? ”
When Moment came, he said, “Job done.”
“Not really, there’s a dent okay. But it’s still tough at the top.”
“When rainwater stays on the dent, it will make the dent bigger until the rock finally breaks into little pieces called sand; it’s a small matter for time, my big brother,” he grimaced. “I told you I’m patient and I’m always on the go, haha. I have the power to achieve great results,” and Moment flew by.
