Once designated the most beautiful terrace in Belgium, the Brasserie du Luc in Genval cannot currently benefit its customers. They appreciate this place which offers a breathtaking view of the soothing Lake Genval. The coronavirus crisis prevents chilling for a drink, savoring a few oysters or cooling off with a good ice cream.
Let’s be positive: it will come back. In the meantime, the boss has decided not to give up and especially to please his customers. Traditionally, he also works in take-out service all year round, but for this end of the 2020 vintage, he has put the small dishes in the big ones. With its festive proposals.
There is something for all seafood and oyster lovers. It’s up to you to compose your dish or let it be. In the starters, gray shrimp croquette, duck foie gras with figs, scallop gratin. As a main course, among others, sole stuffed with shellfish, pheasant supreme in Brabant or veal tagliata with morels.
But the hallmark is obviously the splendid and copious shell bench. You can obviously opt for one person, two or more person trays, but you can also cook it yourself. With a nice choice of oysters (the inevitable Gillardeau but also the Tia Mara, the Normans or the Belon dishes).
Add lobster, langoustines, whelks or periwinkles and you are ready for a happy holiday season.
You have two options: either collection in Genval or delivery to neighboring municipalities.
