Meanwhile, it helps build credibility and improve search engine rankings.
“This is my curse” is my excuse for not taking advantage of it…until last night. I found the presentation on article marketing in a webinar presented by David Wood. During over an hour of presentation and Q&A, David shared his secrets on how to use article marketing to quickly generate leads for your MLM business for free. He cleared up for me the top 3 myths I have about article marketing.
Myth No.1: You have to be an excellent writer or expert in writing articles
This is the biggest reason that keeps me away. I’m never sure enough of my handwriting. However, I feel very comfortable talking to people.
The truth is, as long as you can write what you would say to people face to face, in 500 words, you are an author. In fact, making your article conversational is even better. Let your personality shine through and shorten the distance between you and your reader.
Big news for me. I am applying it right now.
Myth No. 2: You need to write a lot of articles for it to work
Quantity is definitely important. However, if there is no effective marketing strategy, quantity is not enough. On the other hand, a comprehensive marketing strategy will increase the impact and productivity of a single article by 10 times. As David described, articles alone are like a beautiful island in the middle of the ocean, without a connecting bridge, it’s not going to go very far. The power of article marketing lies in promotion.
Myth No. 3: It is a long-term strategy
Once again, this is another reason that keeps me away from article marketing. Let’s face it, we’re all interested in internet marketing to make money, as fast as humanly possible. Not everyone is a visionary, nor do many of us have the financial resources for long-term zero profit.
What I learned from the webinar is that by leveraging effective tools like article submission software and cross-promoting across different mediums like blogs, YouTube, and bookmarks, you’ll see results much sooner than expected. This is the only method David used to generate leads and he was able to get around 25 leads a day in less than two months. The best part, it’s free.
The most important thing for me is: it’s not that we can’t, it’s that we don’t know how.
