There was much ado about nothing. Changes to an electoral law have been discussed in Bosnia-Herzegovina for weeks, but there is actually no reason to do so. In an interview with STANDARD last week, the Austrian expert on the Bosnian constitution, Joseph Marko, pointed out that the corresponding ruling to amend the electoral law had long been implemented and that there was therefore no legal need to carry out further reform in this case, as the Bosnian-Croatian party HDZ vehemently demands.
