Years ago when I was young, I started as a salesman selling pressure washers and steam cleaners. The company he worked for also had a service that cleaned restaurant hoods and ducts. The amazing thing is that they would go out at night and put $500 in their pocket for a night of work and that was 30 years ago. I never really thought about that part of the business because I was on the sales side and even though I was very successful, I couldn’t put $500 in my pocket with one day’s work. Now that I look back with a little more insight, I wonder if I was working in the wrong department.
The work involved took some effort but it wasn’t murder and you work mostly at night which allows you to enjoy your days and allows you to focus on your golf game. They would go out at night with pressure washing equipment, some wet backs, a little soap and chemicals to serve the customer and be done in no time. The good thing about this was that the restaurant had to use the service in any way. Laws dictate that the bells had to be cleaned regularly and once you lined up the customers, all you had to do was serve them at the rolled up money.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who has no problem with working hard and is kind of nice. You don’t even have to do the work, all you have to do is supervise some young men where the young women pay them well and everyone makes money.
