The Bunka Fashion Graduate University (BFGU), a vocational college in Japan, has published “Vol.3 Future Generation”, a summary of the most important content of the online event “BFGU Online Festival ‘Redefining'”. This year, the “Bunka Fashion Graduate University Fashion Week” (BFGU FW), which attracts more than 4,000 visitors from the fashion industry every year, will take place online for the first time.
At the fashion show of the BFGU’s Fashion Creation course, a collection of creations by a large number of current young designers is presented. Details on the content of Vol.3 Future Generation
- The students of the fashion department in their second year of study use digital video technology for their fashion show and move away from the conventional catwalk. The BFGU presents a collection of selected creations by the students. In addition, the university also presents the works of Russian and Czech students in film clips.
- 360-degree panoramic images of the work of the students in the fashion department, taken with the “Matterport” VR camera. The viewers can view the works and videos of the students on a virtual 3D tour. In addition, the BFGU will publish the creations of the students in the second year of the fashion design course using the “CLO Enterprise” 3D CAD software and in the “BFGU MAGAZINE” collection of works.
- Fashion Business Management course: The research results of selected graduates in the 1st and 2nd year of study are presented in videos.
- The BFGU will publish creations via 3D CAD using AR technology. Viewers can immerse themselves in a virtual world that feels real and realistic to them.
