At the beginning of March, the government and the state governors committed to further easing the corona restrictions at Easter despite the third wave beginning. That needs to be corrected now. The threatening rise in the number of cases and the new dangers posed by the British virus variant, which affects younger and younger people, simply do not allow the corona measures to be withdrawn across the board. That should meanwhile be consensus in the government, even if the turquoise part is still pushing for a wider opening. But it is still clear to everyone: Pressure must also be taken from this highly emotionally charged situation. There must be an (Easter) hope for the population.
