Detoxification is a medical process to remove toxins from the human body. Detox tells the truth by resting, cleansing, and fueling the body with nutrients from back to front. By uprooting and removing poisons, then encouraging your body with healthy supplements, detox can help ward off an ailment and restore your ability to maintain ideal wellness.
Detoxification aims to remove toxins from the body and prevent the accumulation of new toxins in the body, as they cause diseases in the body.
Detox process:
Basically, detoxification means purifying the blood. Organs in the body such as the lungs, kidneys, intestines, and skin help the body eliminate toxins through them. Keeping blood circulation regular in these organs can help the body detoxify.
How do you realize the need for detoxification?
The following symptoms can help you understand your bodily behavior in the face of poisoning:
• Restlessness
• Skin problems
• Allergies
• Menstrual problems
• Constipation
• Sexual dysfunction
The body’s natural way to detoxify it:
• Rest your organs by fasting
• Allow your body to perspire so body toxins can be released through the skin.
• Enrich your body with nutrients.
• Avoid contact with contaminants.
A few other preventive measures that could be taken to reduce toxin levels in your body include eliminating alcohol, coffee, and cigarettes.
Try to reduce the use of chemical cleaners used in your environment and health care products like shampoos, deodorants, etc. Stress triggers the release of stress hormone in our body and thus slows down the working activity of detoxifying enzymes in the liver and increases the level of toxins in the body.
Therefore, by making the changes to our diet plan, having a meal rich in fiber, keeping ourselves happy can help the body detoxify and be healthy.
In Ayurveda, the special detoxification process is known as Panchkarma. This process removes all toxins. Each individual takes their best food to live a healthy life, then they also contract some illnesses or restlessness / tiredness. This shows that not all toxins are eliminated by daily defecation or urination or sweating. Very fine particles of undigested food particles (known as AAMA in Ayurveda) deposited in blood, cells, tissues and organ level and are the main cause of diseases. This panchkarma process is known as chikitsa shorthand and has an important role in rejuvenating the individual and leads to 100 years of life.
Panchkarma means five processes
1. Vamana- Drug-induced vomiting
2. Virechana- Therapeutic purgation
3. Vasti – detoxification through the anus
4. Nasya: elimination of toxins through the nose.
5. Raktmokshan: blood detoxification
