Abdominal fat: Ab training helps you lose abdominal fat, but not itself. When it comes to belly fat, many people exercise for a variety of reasons. Losing belly fat isn’t just about looking good, it’s also about being healthy. The best way to develop great abs, as well as a firmer midsection, is to engage in a comprehensive exercise plan. Here are some tips on abdominal training to lose belly fat.
Tip No. 1: Improve posture
Poor posture is a common problem with many people. When you slouch, your stomach looks bigger. The correct posture should be as follows. Your ears should be aligned above your shoulders; your shoulders should be aligned over your hips, your hips over your knees, and your knees over your ankles when you want to walk properly. The result is that you actually look slimmer without even going to the gym. Actually, because it improves your posture, it also improves your ability to breathe and this leads to increased energy.
Tip #2: Pilates
Pilates is recommended as a smart way to use your abs, as well as the muscles in your arms, legs, and back. It focuses on developing the rectus abdominis, by which we mean the upper abdominal muscle layer. Also pay attention to the internal and external obliques. Taken together, this is considered a slow, high-quality exercise that also ensures strength and flexibility.
Plank: Let your hands and knees work to create what’s called a push-up plank position. You’re basically doing a balancing act. Tuck your wrists under your shoulders while making sure your back remains straight. Your abs must remain firm. Try to hold this position for a while and then exhale.
Lower legs: Let the upper body be curved, the chest over the ribs. Your hands should be behind your head. Raise your legs with your knees bent at 90 degrees. Keep your hips down as you gradually lower your legs toward the ground. Don’t change the bend in your knees, just lift them naturally.
Seated Rotations: Sit down, bend your knees and legs together. Your arms should be crossed over your chest and your tailbone bent. Then back off a bit while twisting your spine to the right and left.
Tip No. 3: Diet and Digestion
Eat less and move more should be your motivational mantra. You should strive to burn more calories than you take in. That’s what really helps reduce body fat.
No matter how many abdominal exercises you do, if you are not able to control your diet properly, there will always be a layer of extra fat around your abdominal area. So don’t binge, gorge, or neglect your diet. Be in control and don’t overeat. In this way you lose abdominal fat by training abs to lose abdominal fat.
