Lava Mobile has introduced the A10, which is basically a product of China. It has a 3.0-inch IPS touch screen and the phone has a Gunmetal finish body. The Lava 10 incorporates IPS technology. IPS stands for In Plane Switching and is a display technology used in devices like the iPhone 4 and iPad.
The company claims that the IPS screen of the A10 provides superior viewing quality for both images and video and comes with a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees. The Lava A10, due to its metal body with Gun metal finish, gives it a masculine feel. Includes touch phone design. Being Lava’s first touchscreen phone, the makers have gone to great lengths to create a favorable effect on the customer. Thus, the elegant touchscreen takes up the entire front of the phone, except for a few touch-sensitive buttons. The phone is slim and fits easily in the palm of your hand.
The A10 has an IPS screen similar to that of the Apple iPad. I found the 3-inch screen to be quite responsive to touch. The colors on the screen are bright and it has a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees. The menus are attractive and well organized. It also has a standard 3.5mm universal audio jack.
Other features of the Lave 10 include a 3.2 megapixel camera along with a flash. The flash can help when taking photos in the dark or in low light. It also has a micro SD card that can support 16 GB of data and storage. For the Internet it has EDGE support and is Java enabled. These add-ons make the Lava A10 a joy to own. The phone is extremely responsive to the network and downloads data easily.
The mobile has a privacy lock and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone comes preloaded with social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Youngsters and teenagers will find this very helpful.
The Lava 10 has a 32 MB SD RAM on board. It has 2 buffers that use 1,920,000 bytes to make drawing easy and simple. Each pixel has the address board on the screen and the buffer it belongs to.
The mobile is an advanced mobile and is available at a cheaper price than similar mobiles from Nokia and Sony Ericson. However, the phone holds its own despite the low price and is worth a try.
