The New York Stock Exchange started slightly higher, the Dow Jones (+ 0.43%) continuing its race towards a new record, while the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 grabbed 0.10% and 0.12% at the start week focused on a Fed monetary meeting.
On Friday, the Nasdaq lost 0.59% to 13,319.87 points on fears of a rise in bond rates linked to inflation expectations. Taking advantage of a rotation to traditional economy stocks, the Dow Jones gained 0.90% to 32,778.64 points, finishing at a record high, as did the broader S&P 500 index, which gained 0.10 % at 3,943.34 points.
