Live on March 19 at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1
Vienna (OTS) – Eight places are still available! Who will make it to the semi-finals in the final qualifying round? In the fourth show of the ORF-1 spring event “Starmania 21”, 16 talented singers want to convince the jury of their star potential, but only eight of them make it to the next round. In the live show on Friday, March 19, 2021, at 8.15 p.m. on ORF 1, Starmaniacs from Vienna, Upper Austria, Styria, Burgenland, Lower Austria and Tyrol will show their skills. The jury, consisting of Tim Bendzko, Ina Regen and Nina Sonnenberg alias Fiva, will again determine who gets up and who has to leave the show.
In the fourth “Starmania 21” qualification round, the following 16 candidates will start:
Nathalie Bauer: The 19-year-old comes from Fischamend in Lower Austria. Nathalie Bauer: “I want to show my voice on ‘Starmania’. I’ve been on stage before, but never on TV. I’m really looking forward to it. “
Mert Cosmus is 21 years old, comes from St. Pölten and works as an assistant to the management. Mert Cosmus: “I applied to ‘Starmania’ because I am ready to show Austria what I can do and what I can do as a vocals. So far I’ve only sung for myself and almost no stage experience. Of course I hope to win and otherwise that the public will see what I am doing – ‘Starmania’ is helpful in making a step public. “
Harald Fischl: The 28-year-old graphic designer and musician comes from Leiben in Lower Austria. Harald Fischl: “Actually, my wife had the idea that I should apply. But of course it is firstly the opportunity to be on stage again and secondly the chance to present myself publicly and to show a large audience what I can do. With ‘Starmania 21’ I want to gain experience, get to know new people, network well and take as much as possible for myself personally. “
Tina Tenzin Wangmo Gi: The 16-year-old student comes from Klagenfurt. Tina Tenzin Wangmo Gi: “I saw the call for a casting and thought to myself, I could actually try something new and focus on an aspect of my voice with the pop direction that I never really paid attention to. I’m looking forward to the other candidates – you don’t have that very often, to be able to stand on stage with such talented people – and to meet new great people who just love to make music. “
Daniel Götz: The 20-year-old web developer comes from Perchtoldsdorf in Lower Austria. Daniel Götz: “My grandma saw it in the newspaper and asked me if I would like to take part in ‘Starmania’. Then I applied and now I’m in. I actually didn’t expect it because I wasn’t 100 percent satisfied with my casting – but I think I was able to show what my voice can do, and that’s probably the most important thing. “
Anna Heimrath: The 24-year-old barista and artist comes from Graz. Anna Heimrath: “I missed the stage and I wanted to have fun singing again and especially during this time I would like to give the people at home a good time. I’m looking forward to making great acquaintances and doing what I love to do best – namely, singing. “
Marcel Kaiser: The bank advisor from Herzogenburg in Lower Austria is 20 years old. Marcel Kaiser: “When I was a little boy I watched ‘Starmania’ with my grandmother. And know, if I apply to a casting format, then to ‘Starmania’! I now feel like this is exactly mine. I hope that I can stay the way I am, that I don’t have to pretend. I want to touch people and – when I can – celebrate with them. “
Corinna Koder: The 24-year-old Viennese is a content creator. Corinna Koder: “I applied because ‘Starmania’ is a good experience for my musical career. My best friend told me, ‘You’re going to take part’. “
Philipp Lauscher: The 24-year-old truck driver for garbage disposal comes from Krems an der Donau in Lower Austria. Philipp Lauscher: “It has always been my dream to become a singer, and I want to show the people out there that I have talent. I didn’t believe I’d be in the top 64 – and I’m all the more happy about it now. “
David Mannhart: The student from Trumau in Lower Austria is 15 years old. David Mannhart: “Even as a child I was enthusiastic about singing and acting. ‘Starmania’ came up to me at very short notice – my mother saw in the media that the casting was starting again. Then I applied and now I’m just really happy to be on the show. I hope that through ‘Starmania’ I can achieve that people know me and that it might be a stepping stone for something new. “
Stefanie Mayer: The 25-year-old Carinthian is a singer and actress at the Vienna Volksoper. Stefanie Mayer: “I am particularly happy to be on stage at such a time that I can bring art and music to my hearts again. I am also most looking forward to touching people with music again. I had a lot of fun with ‘Starmania’, it was always a highlight, so I’m all the more happy to be there. “
Johannes Pietsch: The 19-year-old Viennese is a civil servant and studies English and geography. Johannes Pietsch: “I want to show people my talent and show what I can do vocally. When I heard that ‘Starmania’ was coming back, I knew I had to apply right away. I don’t expect anything special from participating and just want to see how everything develops. “
Rebecca Rapp: The 30-year-old is a vocal coach, singer, copywriter and producer and comes from Hinterbrühl in Lower Austria. Rebecca Rapp: “Especially in times like these, I thought to myself, now or never! This is my chance to get on stage again. I really want to present myself for who I am. I want to think from show to show and not have too high expectations. Let’s see what happens.”
Stephanie Schnauer: The 27-year-old bartender comes from Wiener Neudorf in Lower Austria. Stephanie Schnauer: “I’m happy to have the chance to develop musically. I loved ‘Starmania’, it was a highlight for my sister and me, it was THE show for me! “
Teodora Spiric: The 20-year-old Viennese is studying German and English to become a teacher. Teodora Spiric: “I’ve wanted to make music all my life and make it my job too. ‘Starmania’ is the perfect platform where I can gain experience. I hope that after the show I can say that I now feel really safe and secure on stage. “
Paul Wohlfahrt: The 21-year-old student (Business Consultancy International) comes from Wiener Neustadt in Lower Austria. Paul Wohlfahrt: “One of my first CDs was actually one of ‘Starmania’. That was also the point at which I said to myself that one day I would also like to take part in a casting show. I hope I enjoy it and connecting with the other candidates is a cool process too. The most important thing is that we do a cool show together. “
